One Minute Music Video - Task

So, our next task is to complete a one minute music video and this time we have the rains to choose any song we want. Myself, Abbie and Emily found this to be really difficult as we couldn't decide which song would be best to do. We have now decided to do "Girls just Wanna Have Fun" by American singer Cyndi Lauper, released in 1985. We thought that this would be a good song to do as it's upbeat so it'll be easy to add dance clips to, also the lyrics allow for a narrative to be created throughout the music video. Also, thinking about the people who can be in our video was another factor as we was previously considering to do "Creep" by Radiohead, however finding a actor/ess to be willing to play the part of the 'creep' was difficult. So doing this song is much easier as more people are willing to be apart of this happy upbeat music video. Our group is excited to do this task and it will help us develop our skills further for the initial music video task.
