Logo for our Artist

Logo's are an important aspect for artists, as it is a visual representation of the brand/artist. The identity of the brand is shown through the logo, this is typically the memorable aspect of the brand when the audience sees it during advertisements such as album promotions, CD covers, etc. Having a logo also allows for merchandising, for example, printing the logo on T-Shirts or mugs for fans to buy.


Here are some ideas for the logo which I created for our artist, "Dakota." The logo can be used for merchandise, the website and other social media. I chose to do the logos fairly simplistic with the name of the artist "DAKOTA" as that will be our 'brand,' as a pop artist it is common from this genre to have the artists name as their logo as self-promotion of the artists themselves as the brand is extremely important.

This is our chosen logo as we believe it suits our artist the best, with subtle dark colouring and the simple font with the artists name for promotion.
