We have been working on our CD front and back cover and inside booklet. We have been editing our photos in Adobe Photoshop, which since we haven't used this programme much even with a few practices were struggling however we found some tutorials on YouTube to look for the basics and other effects such as "disintegrate effect" I attempted to try this effect for the front cover however with our image it didn't work right so we found an alternative. We have yet to do the actual CD yet and the outside cover for the inside booklet. Our general theme for our artist is black and white as you can see on the Twitter, website and it is incorporated into our music video. Therefore for our CD pack we followed this same theme.
We still have changes to be made to the photos below, as we asked for feedback from a couple of peers to see what we could improve on for example, changing the font colour on the front cover to a "soft gold" to make the title clearer and easier to read also on the back changing this to the same colour for the artists name "DAKOTA." As well as this, instead of putting lyrics on the inserts we will change this to information about the tracks e.g. producers and writers as we have only done lyrics for 2/10 songs which may look odd not doing them all.
